WEEK 2 PROCESS POST : The installation and setup works for my blog

When I think about the topic and theme of my blog, the first thing that rushed in my head is photography. Although I have various interests and hobbies, photography has always been at the core of my life. However, since the task of this course is designing a personal blog, so only sharing the photos that I shot in daily life may not satisfied the requirements of the course. Based on this consideration, I decided to designed my website as a travel blog which sharing the stories and experiences that I had encountered and share the photos in the articles. For me, travel is second only to photography in my heart. In order to take more stunning landscapes and portraits and meet other different cultures and peoples, travel has become an essential part of my life.

In my free time, I often go online to find some outstanding travel bloggers and see if they go to unknown niche attractions. Generally speaking, a good travel blogger is also a good photographer.For me, the significance of a travel blog is to convey the beauty and culture of a country and a city. Posting blog content with well shot pictures will makes the viewers more willing to learn about these places. So, before starting my own blog, I refer to some of my favorite blogs and learned the structures and designs of them. Below, I will post the links of their blog and put the “About” description of them.



Maptia is a collaborative project with a diverse group of photographers, writers, adventurers, and conservationists, who bring their readers a world of inspiring and thought-provoking stories. They are a volunteer-run travel blog spending hundreds of hours over the past 4 years to self-publish impactful travel stories in an independent, ad-free environment.

Whether discussing politics with locals in a city bar, understanding unusual rock formations in spectacular scenery or working out the meaning of life in an obscure gallery in the middle east. Their questions drive their passion for independent travel and invoke their curiosity to see the world through the eyes of locals — and sharing it with you.
